Jesus’ Specialty 

I have not come to ask good people to change. I have come to ask sinners to change the way they live. Luke 5:32

When someone has a toothache, she will go to the dentist. 

When someone has a cold, he will go to the doctor. 

When someone needs an eye check, she will go to an optician. 

You see, each occupation is assigned to examine someone based on their specialty.

Do you know what is Jesus’ specialty? 

Jesus’ specialty is to heal the sinners to come to repentance. Jesus was friends with tax collectors. Jesus saw their need for salvation, to be freed from their sins. Many people didn’t like tax collectors and avoided having meals with them. However, Jesus’ specialty was to reach out to the lost, to show love to them, and call them to repentance. 

Jesus’ specialty has not changed. Although we are not tax collectors, we are all sinners and we need His love. Come to Jesus as you are and trust in His specialty.

Dear Jesus, let Your specialty work amazingly in my life to change my wrong ways into the right ones. Amen.
