Rewards from Heaven

Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous. Luke 14:14

When your birthday is approaching, you will be so excited to make plans for your birthday celebration! You might be planning a birthday party with your friends or a simple dinner with your family. There’s nothing wrong with it. However, on your joyous occasion, it will be great too if you would think of sharing your happiness with the less fortunate people.

Jesus said that when we are having a party, it is good to celebrate it with those who are less fortunate. They might be our neighbor who is in need, the orphans or the disabled people. 

Jesus said when we do good things or celebrate with those who are less fortunate, we will not get any reward from them in return BUT we will receive our reward from God personally!

I think the reward from God is greater, bigger, and more precious than any reward we can ever receive in this world. Let us learn to share our joyous moments with the less fortunate people. It will be very rewarding and meaningful!

Prayer

Dear Father, help me to be loving and caring toward those who may not have as much as I have. Amen.
