On MissionSample

We love to live ‘On Mission’. Our favourite games are all about completing a mission, in Super Mario the mission is to race through the mushroom kingdom, avoid Bowser and save Princess Toadstool. People set goals to complete missions like running marathons, climbing mountains or swimming across oceans. We can even complete missions in our everyday life, such as helping our parents with the grocery shopping. “Find 5 red apples”, “find lemon scented dishwashing soap”, “find paprika in a jar”. What type of missions do you have in your life?
We’ve all been given a mission. It’s more important than saving a princess, running a marathon or finding items in the supermarket. Our mission is from Jesus Himself!
After Jesus died on the cross and rose again, He spent time with His disciples and before He left them, He gave them a mission to tell others about Him. We have that same mission today, to share the good news about Jesus. Jesus gives us all a mission - to tell others about Him.

About this Plan

Before Jesus went to heaven He gave His disciples a mission to tell others about Him. We have that same mission today, to share the good news about Jesus. This 15-Day plan explores the Great Commission, our mission to tell others about Jesus, how the Holy Spirit empowers us for this mission, and how we can live our lives ‘On Mission’ for Jesus!
