Moving house is hard work. You need to clean up, pack everything into boxes, make a plan to transport it to your new house, load everything into a truck, unload it at the new house and unpack all the boxes. You might be able to do much of it on your own, but there will always be something like a couch or a fridge or a mattress that is too big and too heavy to carry by yourself. Even if you had the biggest muscles ever, you’d still need help! The mission of moving house is much easier when you have a helper.

Jesus gave us all a mission - to tell others about Him, but we don’t have to do it alone. We have each other and more importantly, we have the Holy Spirit.

Before Jesus went to the cross, Jesus promised to send a helper, the Holy Spirit. In fact, God had promised a long time ago during the time of the Old Testament that one day this helper would come. Then after Jesus went to heaven, the Holy Spirit came, and He is still with us today.

The Holy Spirit is with us always and empowers us for the mission to tell others about Jesus.
