On Mission

DAY 15 OF 15

No matter where we live, we can live our lives ‘On Mission’ every day and reach the world. One day God may call you to travel to faraway places to tell people about Jesus, but you don’t have to wait until then to live your life ‘On Mission’. There are people in your street, your school and your neighbourhood that need to hear the good news too. If it were up to only you to reach the people in your community, it would be hard work. We are not alone in our mission, we have the Holy Spirit and each other.

Jesus encouraged His followers by talking about farming. They knew what it meant to sow seeds, nurture them to grow and at the right time gather the harvest. It is devastating for a farmer if they lose their crops because there are not enough workers to gather the harvest. As followers of Jesus, we are all called to this mission, telling others about Him.

Living ‘On Mission’ might look like encouraging others, sharing the gospel, praying for people, inviting people to church and living a life that points others to Jesus. We can all work together living our lives ‘On Mission’ to share the good news.

Day 14

About this Plan

On Mission

Before Jesus went to heaven He gave His disciples a mission to tell others about Him. We have that same mission today, to share the good news about Jesus. This 15-Day plan explores the Great Commission, our mission to tell others about Jesus, how the Holy Spirit empowers us for this mission, and how we can live our lives ‘On Mission’ for Jesus!
