On MissionSample

There are some missions that are easy to do and we don’t need anyone to help us. “Do 5 star jumps”, “Solve 2 + 2”, “Make the noise of your favourite animal”. The Bible tells us about a mission that we don't do on our own. We need to work together. It won’t just take a few minutes, it’s a mission we’re a part of for our whole lives.

This mission from Jesus is to tell others the good news, but what is the good news? It is that Jesus came to save us, so we can have eternal life with Him. The good news about Jesus is good news for all people and our mission is to share it.

He wouldn’t give such an important mission to us if He didn’t believe we could do it. Remember, Jesus is with us, we’re not on our own! Jesus gave this Great Commission to us, not to do by ourselves, but to do together and to do it with His help. Jesus gives us all a mission - to tell others about Him.
