Please ExplainSample
Don't you hate when you're fumbling around in the dark and smashing your foot into something? There is just no pain like smashed toes. When we're fumbling around in the dark, searching for some light, getting hurt along the way is easy. We're not sure of what's ahead of us! Navigating places we are unsure of is always easier when we have some guidance.
The book of Psalms, a collection of poems and songs, discusses how God's words can act as a light for us. When we are unsure what decision to make, what direction to go in, or don't want to "stub our toes," we can look to God's words to guide us.
Today, think about a situation where you could use some guidance, and pray for how God might be guiding you.

About this Plan
Some things are hard to understand — like chemistry or verb conjugations. When we face a problem we're struggling to understand, it helps to know someone we trust can explain it to us. Jesus spent time helping his followers understand difficult ideas about God. Jesus did this by using stories and metaphors, called parables. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum we’ll unpack Jesus’ teachings.
