Have you ever looked at an essay you needed to write or a project you needed to work on and felt like you didn't know where to start? Living a life focused on growing God's Kingdom can sometimes feel that way. Jesus taught about a lot of different ideas and ways we could help. From praying for people, giving our time and money, to simply loving people. But where do we start?

In the book of Luke, Jesus uses stories to help people understand what the Kingdom of God is like. Through this, we see that it doesn't have to be some grand idea that helps us grow God's kingdom, but it can be something small that helps in a big way. Small steps can add up to significantly impact the world around us. For example, a small step to growing the kingdom of God could be a simple smile, praying for someone, a random act of kindness, or paying for someone's meal or drink when they don't have enough money. You have a part to play in growing God's kingdom, and it starts with you recognizing that what you do — even the little things — matter.
