Welcome to a brand new month where we are going to talk a lot about JOY. Joy is different from happiness. Happiness disappears into thin air when our circumstances change. But, joy remains in all circumstances. Why? Because it is a gift from God when we accept Him as our Lord and personal Savior.

The early church was known as a joyful congregation. Not because they didn’t have any problems. On the contrary, they had to face many challenges and adversities. But whatever happened did not steal the joy they had in their hearts. They lived joyfully and the joy they had was their source of strength.

As believers, God never promised us a problem-free life. Instead, the Bible says that “the righteous person may have many troubles..” (Psalms 34:19 NIV) Can we stay joyful in the midst of trouble? Let’s prepare our hearts to explore the topic of abundant joy from God this month. Be faithful to meditate upon His Word.
