 Week Six - Day Seven - I Belong to Something Amazing

Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!

‘The First Church’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 480-483) or in Acts 2:42-47.

They shared everything they had with each other. 

Sometimes sharing is quite hard! Maybe it’s your favourite toy, or maybe you have to share your parents’ time with your brothers and sisters?

When we share nicely, it makes God really happy. It shows Him that we are thinking about others, and we can work together with other people!

The most important thing we could ever share with someone else is how much God loves them. The Church is God’s greatest plan, because it’s how His love can be shared with everyone in the whole wide world. That’s why we are so excited when our churches grow - it means more and more people know God’s love and are following His awesome plan! 

ASK:

Are you good at sharing? 

Who can you share God’s love with this week? 

REMEMBER:

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)

SAY:

I Can Thrive

With you in my life.

All you create,

Is wonderful and great. 

I will recall all you have done, 

The battles that have been won. 

I am fearless in my quest,

For I am Born for This.
