Week Six - Day Three - I Belong to Something Amazing

Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!

READ:

‘The First Church’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 480-483) or in Acts 2:42-47.

Together, they learned many things about God and God’s plans. 

Sometimes, it can be a bit hard to know what God is saying or doing, can’t it? When we feel like that, we can feel like God isn’t listening or isn’t close to us. 

But He is always listening and close to us. When we have our church family around us, they can help us to see that; and sometimes they can explain things and help us see what God is saying, or what His plan is. 

Don’t be afraid to ask your parents or your Freedom Kids leaders if you don’t understand something!

ASK:

Do you have a question about God or His plans? Ask your big person!  

REMEMBER:

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)

SAY:

I Can Thrive

With you in my life.

All you create,

Is wonderful and great. 

I will recall all you have done, 

The battles that have been won. 

I am fearless in my quest,

For I am Born for This.
