Week Six - Day Two - I Belong to Something Amazing

Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!

‘The First Church’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 480-483) or in Acts 2:42-47.

The new believers studied with the disciples - they worked together.

The Church is important because it reminds us that we are not alone. 

Think about games you might have played with your friends or in school. Isn’t it so much easier when you work together with people in a team?! Well, that’s why God created us to be part of the Church. We can all work together and help each other. That was his BEST plan! 

ASK:

How can you help someone else today? 

REMEMBER:

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)

SAY:

I Can Thrive

With you in my life.

All you create,

Is wonderful and great. 

I will recall all you have done, 

The battles that have been won. 

I am fearless in my quest,

For I am Born for This.
