God with You

You can keep moving in the middle of your struggles. They don’t have to be a stop sign, even if they are a detour. God loves you enough to let you continue through your struggles. They make you stronger, they increase your strength, and they define your hope. If you look at every struggle like it’s the end, it just may be. You can stop dead in your tracks if you want to. But when you rejoice in the face of your struggles, they will lead you on to the next victory.

It’s all in how you view your situation and circumstances. It takes zeroing in on God in the midst of your struggle. Why shouldn’t you stop? Because God hasn’t. That’s a pretty good reason. God has never given up on you or your dreams. You shouldn’t either. Consistently training your ear to his Word will keep you afloat. And as you lean on the rest he provides, it will keep you moving.

Struggles can never stop the vision God gave you. As you think about the struggles you’ve already faced in life, instead of looking at the damage they may have caused, choose to focus on the strength they have brought. God will use every situation, circumstance, discomfort, pain, or sidetrack to renew you. He can energize you when you feel drained. He can give you hope when you feel depressed. He can put you back on course when you get knocked down. Find the anchor of hope you have in the Lord and continue taking one more step.

God is even more invested in your future than you are. He gave his only Son to die for you so that you would have a secure future with him in heaven. He gave you the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth, including the truth about the dream he placed in your heart. And he will give you all that you need according to his riches in glory. He has unlimited resources to make it come true, so why should you give up when you have God on your side?
