DAY 18 OF 25

When it comes to your gifts and talents, what stands out to you? Do you feel gifted at a certain sport, talent, or skill? Are you a great friend, a great listener, or a great supporter of others? Are you artistic? Are you athletic? Are you intelligent? Are you tech-savvy? Whatever that gift is for you, it’s important to remember that it’s more than just something you’re good at or capable of doing well. It’s something God gave you. It’s something you can use for a purpose. As humans, we’re all uniquely made with specific skills and talents. And when we use those specific skills and talents in a way that glorifies God, we’re giving them greater meaning. We’re working with a purpose. We’re using all God has given us in the best way possible.

Take time this week to make a list of some of your gifts and talents. If you’re not sure or struggling to identify a few, ask a spouse, a close friend, a family member, or even your small group leader to point out what they see in you. Then, find a way to use those gifts and talents in a way that serves, helps, or shows up for others. Use them to glorify God!

About this Plan

Rooted

Like a plant, our root system—our identity—is vitally important to our health. It’s how you see yourself in light of God, others, and the world. It’s what holds you when life changes, threatens, or causes you to question what’s true about you! We’ll look at how a healthy identity rooted in who God is will keep us strong, vibrant, and grounded no matter what comes our way.
