Paul’s letter reminds us of the eternal dimension to God’s kingdom and draws us to greater devotion to the Father. It reminds us that we are subject to God’s sovereignty which is all-encompassing, and that God’s reign brings about new life, a life that is fully alive and everlasting. To be fully alive in Christ we must surrender all to him, this is an ongoing process throughout our lives as Christians.
As you pray, pray for those who do not yet know Christ, pray also for evangelists, preachers and teachers and for a growing desire and ability to spread the Word of God, to share faith, with those around you.

Nine days of prayer (Novena) focusing on Jesus as the Universal King. The Roman Catholic Church sets aside the last Sunday of the liturgical year as the Feast of Christ the King. This study takes each of the readings from the Mass of this feast and explores a different aspect of what the Universal Kingship of Jesus looks like and means for us in our lives.
