Hope, Justice, And Living Life To The FullSample

Reflect:
In Ephesians 6:19, we read that disciples of Christ are called to be a praying people. The influence of the church, through prayer, preserves public peace. It also raises good rulers who use power to do good. Through prayer, bad leaders are prevented from some of the misuse of their power. Whether rulers be good or bad, Christ calls us to pray for them.
Pray:
Lord, I pray for all those in authority; for rulers, presidents, monarchs, and decision-makers. I ask that you will move their hearts so that they will make choices that uphold justice. Help me to play my part in urging the abolition of unjust laws. Amen.
