As the church, we are urged to love one another with pure hearts. Hearts purified by the Holy Spirit are fervent, intense, continually loving without hypocrisy. This love doesn’t come from human generation, or earthly means, but from Christ. God’s word and truth demonstrates loving and caring relationships, which are not prone to decay.
Pray:
Lord, help me to live with a heart purified by your Spirit, fed on the living and enduring word of God. Give me a desire to live out Christ’s love in my daily life by reaching out to those in need. Amen.
