Everyone loves a good cheerleader. Attend any large sporting event, and you’re sure to see a line of people on the field cheering on their team to encourage them to give their best in the game. They don’t just encourage the players; they raise everyone’s energy levels to build excitement and celebration. In our real lives, we probably wouldn’t want a professional cheerleader following us around and calling out cheers, but still, we want people in our lives who encourage us. We want people who see our potential and cheer us on every step of the way.
Have you ever had a person like that in your life? A person who was your constant cheerleader? A person you felt was always in your corner no matter the situation? If you have, spend some time in prayer, thanking God for what they bring to your life. Consider how you can be this person to someone else. Is there someone in your life that you can cheer on and encourage? Spend some time praying for that person, asking God to help you find big and small ways that you can be an encouragement and cheerleader in their life.

About this Plan
An influencer has the ability to change our minds or make us try something new. And while we may think of an influencer as someone with millions of followers, the reality is we don’t need a big audience to be an influencer. In fact, God calls each one of us to be an influencer for good. In this devotional, we’ll see all the ways God has used people—even the unexpected people—to have an amazing influence on others.
