What does a perfect day look like to you? For many of us, it might look something like being able to sleep in as late as you want, going out for a long walk on a beautiful trail, or maybe getting to order in and spend the day watching seasons of your favorite TV show. On the flip side, what might make your day chaotic? Maybe the presentation you gave at work didn’t go the way that you wanted, or traffic caused you to be late for an appointment, or you got into a spat with your spouse. Regardless of whether it’s the best day or one you just had to get through, it’s still a day that God made for us. And on any day, we’re called to rejoice in that gift. Of course, this can be really tough at times. It can be hard to be thankful to God for a day that didn’t go the way that we wanted. We want to be encouraged to praise God no matter the storm, but sometimes, we may need some help to see something that’s worth celebrating.
Today, make a list of the things in your life that you are grateful for. Put anything and everything down, no matter how silly it may seem. Then, at the top of your list, write this verse to remind yourself that every day and everything in it is something worth celebrating because of God.

About this Plan
An influencer has the ability to change our minds or make us try something new. And while we may think of an influencer as someone with millions of followers, the reality is we don’t need a big audience to be an influencer. In fact, God calls each one of us to be an influencer for good. In this devotional, we’ll see all the ways God has used people—even the unexpected people—to have an amazing influence on others.
