When we think about the love that Jesus has for us, it’s pretty easy to be overwhelmed. Jesus Christ came down from heaven, became human, and then sacrificed Himself on the cross, all for the sake of humanity. Not only did Jesus do all this, but He spent the little time that He had on Earth doing whatever He could for others. His limited time was spent performing miracles, providing teaching that showed the way to forgiveness, and also pouring into and encouraging His disciples to continue the work after He was gone. Jesus Christ is the best example of encouragement and celebration that we can find. And He calls us to follow His lead—to be of the same mind toward one another that He demonstrated in His life on Earth. While we may never find ourselves in a position to sacrifice ourselves for someone else, we are still called to love and encourage one another the way that Jesus loved and encouraged us.
What does it look like to show love and encouragement to everyone around you? This week, challenge yourself to do one thing for someone else each day. Take small steps to use your influence in the same way Jesus did.

About this Plan
An influencer has the ability to change our minds or make us try something new. And while we may think of an influencer as someone with millions of followers, the reality is we don’t need a big audience to be an influencer. In fact, God calls each one of us to be an influencer for good. In this devotional, we’ll see all the ways God has used people—even the unexpected people—to have an amazing influence on others.
