Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "Abundant Joy"Sample

Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "Abundant Joy"

DAY 25 OF 28

One way to show our thankfulness to God is by praising His name. Do we praise God only in church or while joining an online service? Of course not. We can praise God anytime and anywhere.

With music or singing acapella, alone or together, in our own room, in the car, wherever we are, we can praise God as we remember His goodness.

Even when our hearts feel sad and heavy, even when the circumstances are less than ideal, learn to continue to praise His name. Why? Because in all things, His goodness never changes, never diminishes.

Say this over and over again, “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul; and forget not all His benefits.”

Devotion for Parents
Have you praised God today? Ponder upon what has happened today and list down how many times you’ve praised and worshiped Him up to this moment.

If you haven’t done so many times today, or even none at all, this is the perfect time to do it. Praise Him and glorify His name together with your family.

Devotion for Kids
Praising God is not just singing and dancing. Praising God is lifting up our thanksgiving to Him and glorifying His name.

Can you praise God in school, or when you are playing? Of course, you can. Think about how to do it when you are in the midst of doing your activities every day.

Family Devotion Time
Take the time to praise and worship God. You can play a musical instrument if you have one, or you can use simple items you can find at home to drum up some simple beats. You can also play a song from any online digital platform and sing together.

Enjoy His presence and joy with your family.
