Day Five - God’s Way is Best

This week we are going to be looking at how God’s Way is Best. 

READ:

‘Jonah and the Big Fish’ in a Children’s Bible or Jonah 1:1 - 3:10

Jonah knew that God had sent the storm - he told the sailors it was his fault the storm had come and to throw Jonah overboard into the sea! 

ASK:

If we do something wrong, we often know that we have - we can feel a bit yucky inside - it can sometimes feel like a storm inside us! 

But do you remember what we can do when we do something we know is wrong?  

That’s right!  We can say sorry and God will forgive us and then we can forgive ourselves and the yucky feeling will stop! 

Is there something you feel you need to say sorry for today?  If so, have a chat with your grownup, say sorry and maybe you can pray together and ask God to forgive you - He always will. 

This is how God wants us to live, always be ready to say sorry and ask for forgiveness - this is God’s Best Way. 

REMEMBER:

Look at the new thing I am going to do.

It is already happening. Don’t you see it?

I will make a road in the desert.

I will make rivers in the dry land.

(Isaiah 43:19)

SAY:

Thank you Lord that you have created us all unique and wonderful.  

Help us to love you and everyone you have placed in our lives and 

to become more like you every day - in Jesus name - Amen.
