Day Three - God’s Way is Best

This week we are going to be looking at how ‘God’s Way is Best’! 

READ:

‘Jonah and the Big Fish’ in a Children’s Bible or Jonah 1:1 - 3:10

Jonah ran away!  He didn’t want to go to Nineveh!

Jonah jumped on a ship and went the opposite way to which God wanted him to go! 

ASK:

Do you think Jonah had forgotten that God is everywhere and can see all things? 

When God asks us to do something it is because He knows that He has given us everything we need in order to do it. 

Remember our seeds from last week?  If you planted some go and have a look at them and see if they are beginning to grow.  If you didn’t plant some, maybe you could plant some this week?  Ask your grownup about this. 

Just like the seed, Jonah had everything he needed to do what God asked him to. 

REMEMBER:

Look at the new thing I am going to do.

It is already happening. Don’t you see it?

I will make a road in the desert.

I will make rivers in the dry land.

(Isaiah 43:19)

SAY:

Thank you Lord that you have created us all unique and wonderful.  

Help us to love you and everyone you have placed in our lives and 

to become more like you every day - in Jesus name - Amen.
