Day Four - God’s Way is Best

This week we are going to be looking at how ‘God’s Way is Best’!

READ:

‘Jonah and the Big Fish’ in a Children’s Bible or Jonah 1:1 - 3:10

Jonah was trying to run away from God - so God sent a big storm to stop Jonah. 

The sailors on the boat were afraid - they thought the boat was going to sink! 

ASK:

Remember God is everywhere and knows everything - so God knew that Jonah was on board a ship trying to run away from God. 

Do you think that Jonah was doing things God’s way? 

What do you think Jonah should do?  Chat about this with your grownup. 

What would you do if God asked you to take a message to someone? 

REMEMBER:

Look at the new thing I am going to do.

It is already happening. Don’t you see it?

I will make a road in the desert.

I will make rivers in the dry land.

(Isaiah 43:19)

SAY:

Thank you Lord that you have created us all unique and wonderful.  

Help us to love you and everyone you have placed in our lives and 

to become more like you every day - in Jesus name - Amen.
