NOW IS THE TIME

Esther now enjoyed the benefits of being queen. She was safe in the palace. She was comfortable. She had all that she wanted. She was having the time of her life—until she was told of the king’s decree to have all the Israelites killed.

When we come into a relationship with Jesus, we start living our lives anew, enjoying the benefits of being adopted into God’s family. We are assured of His protection, comfort, and provision always. Being in a relationship with Jesus is having the time of our lives.

But there is more to this relationship than just us getting saved. There is a dying world waiting for the message of life to come to it. And while we cannot save the world, we can say that just like Esther, we are placed in a position for such a time as this to share His salvation to those who need it. Now is the time we take a stand in the campuses we are in. Now is the time to share the love that rescued us from darkness into light.

REFLECT

1. Are there people in your sphere of influence who clearly are in desperate need to hear the gospel?
2. Are you being too comfortable with the fact that you are already saved that you have lost sight of the need to reach out to others as well?

RESPOND

1. Pray that God will stir in your heart a passion for the students in your campus and give you the boldness to share the Word.
2. List down the people you want to share the gospel to. Pray that God will prepare their hearts as He prepares you to speak to them about Him.
