As you think about the power of prayer, don't miss the power in this simple and concise prayer that our Lord taught us in "The Lord's Prayer". One of my favorite lines of this prayer is a statement I declare at the end of our service every Sunday:

"His Kingdom Come, His Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!"

This could be my life verse! You see, when we talk about the Kingdom, we are not talking about a place, but about a King. We are talking about the reign of Jesus in the realm of our hearts, changing us and, in effect, our world! This is the power of the Gospel. Jesus Changes Everything! Yet, we must never forget the fuel for a Kingdom-Come life...Jesus Christ, our daily bread! This is why we do these reading plans every day. Jesus is the bread of life, broken for you, and He tells us when we eat of Him, we will never go hungry again!

As you pray this prayer today, may the Kingdom of our resurrected King continue to come into your life and may you never stop delighting in the fullness of our daily bread! - Logan Beardsley
