Restless

Ọjọ́ 1 nínú 7

Do you ever feel tired? Do you lack energy? Do you get restless, constantly squirming around, can’t find comfort anywhere, with anything, or with anyone? Maybe you are in a continual rhythm of stress. It’s constant. But if you’re honest, you actually thrive on it. But is this the life you want to live? Can you sustain this pace for another day, week, or year? You're rest-less. Jesus understands the stress of life. He understood the stress of people when He walked the Earth 2000 years ago.

Jesus stops and says to the people following Him in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Jesus is calling you. Jesus will take your stress, restlessness and your baggage. But will you choose to come to Him? It’s time to stop running away and begin to walk back towards the Savior, the only one who has the medicine you need. Jesus wants you to come back. “All who labor.” This includes everyone. This includes you. Although we wish life was an exciting adventure, or just a stroll in the park, it’s not. It’s hard work. Will you come to Him?
