UYOHANE 19:23-42 IZIBHALO EZINGCWELE (XHO75)
Athe ngoko amasoldati, xa abembethelele emnqamlezweni uYesu, azithabatha iingubo zakhe, enza izabelo eziné, laelo isoldati lanesabelo; kwanengubo yangaphantsi. Ke kaloku, ingubo yangaphantsi yabe ingenamthungo; yayilukiwe iphela, ithabathele phezulu. Atshono ngoko ukuthi, Masingayikrazuli, masiqashise ngayo ukuba yoba yekabani na; ukuze isibhalo sizaliseke esithi, Babelana ngeengubo zam, Benza amaqashiso ngesambatho sam. (INdum. 22:18) Amasoldati ke ngoko azenza ezi zinto. Kwakumi ke ngasemnqamlezweni kaYesu unina, nomsakwabo bonina, uMariya umkaKleyopa, noMariya waseMagadala. UYesu ngoko, akumbona unina, naye umfundi abemthanda emi khona, uthi kuye unina, Mfazi, nanko unyana wakho! Andule athi kumfundi lowo, Nanko unyoko! Wathi kwakwelo lixa, umfundi lowo wamthabatha, wamsa kwikhaya lakhe. Emveni koko, uYesu, esazi ukuba zonke izinto sezifezekile, ukuze sifezeke isibhalo, wathi, Ndinxaniwe. Bekumi ke isitya sizele yiviniga; bazalisa ke bona imfunxa ngeviniga; bayibeka phezu kwehisope,• bayisa emlonyeni wakhe. Xa ngoko uYesu wabeyamkele iviniga, wathi, Kugqityiwe! Wathoba intloko, wawunikela umoya wakhe. AmaYuda ngoko, ukuze imizimba ingahlali emnqamlezweni ngesabatha, ekubeni yayiyimini yokulungiselela isabatha (kuba loo sabatha ibingumhla omkhulu), acela kuPilato ukuba imilenze yabo yaphulwe, basuswe. Eza ngoko amasoldati, ayaphula okunene imilenze yowokuqala, neyomnye obebethelelwe emnqamlezweni naye. Kodwa akufika kuYesu, akubona ukuba uselefile, akayaphula imilenze yakhe. Lesuka elinye isoldati lamhlaba ngomkhonto ecaleni; kwaoko kwaphuma igazi namanzi. Nalowo ubonileyo ungqinile, nobungqina bakhe buyinyaniso; naye yena uyazi ukuba uthetha inyaniso, ukuze nani nikholwe. Kuba zenzeka ezi zinto, ukuze isibhalo sizaliseke esithi, Akuyi kutyunyuzwa thambo lakhe. Kanjalo nesinye isibhalo sithi, Baya kukhangela kulowo bamhlabileyo. Ke kaloku emveni koko, uYosefu waseArimati (engumfundi kaYesu, ke enguye ngokufihlakeleyo ngenxa yokoyika amaYuda), wacela kuPilato, ukuba awususe umzimba kaYesu. Waza uPilato wavuma; weza ke wawususa umzimba kaYesu. Kwafika ke noNikodemo (lowo wezayo kuYesu ebusuku ekuqaleni), ephethe impithikezo yemore• nekhala, ngathi iziiponti ezilikhulu ngobunzima. Bawuthabatha ke umzimba kaYesu, bawubopha ngezisongelo zelinen, ndawonye nobulawu, njengoko kulisiko lokungcwaba kumaYuda. Ke kaloku, bekukho kuloo ndawo abebethelelwe kuyo emnqamlezweni umyezo; nasemyezweni apho bekukho ingcwaba elitsha, ekungazanga kubekwe mntu kulo. UYesu ngoko bambeka khona apho, ngenxa yemini yokulungiselela kwamaYuda; ngokuba ingcwaba belikufuphi.

Akuba amajoni embethelele emnqamlezweni uYesu, azithatha iimpahla zakhe, abelana ngazo emané. Asithatha sona isambatho sakhe esasingenamthungo, salukiwe nje sisonke ukususela phezulu. Ke ngoko athetha-thethana esithi: “Masingasikrazuli; *masiqashise ngaso ukuba siya kuba sesikabani.” Ukwenjenje oku ayezalisekisa loo ndawo *eziBhalweni ithi: “Babelana ngeempahla zam; baqashisa ngesambatho sam.” Enza loo nto kanye amajoni. Apho ngasemnqamlezweni kaYesu kwakumi unina, nodade bonina, noMariya umka-Kleyopa, kunye noMariya waseMagadala. UYesu akumbona unina emi kunye naloo mfundi uYesu wayemthanda, wathi kunina: “Mama, nanko unyana wakho.” Waza wathi kuloo mfundi: “Nanko unyoko.” Ukususela ngelo xesha loo mfundi wamthathela emzini wakhe unina kaYesu. UYesu wayesazi ngoku okokuba konke kugqityiwe ukuba kuzalisekiswe okuxelwe *eziBhalweni, waza wathi: “Ndinxaniwe.” Kwakukho isitya sizele yiwayini emuncu apho, baza bathi nkxu imfunxa kuloo wayini, bayibeka engcongolweni ekuthiwa yihisopu, bayisondeza emlonyeni kaYesu. Akuba eyimfimfithile iwayini uYesu wathi: “Kugqityiwe.” Wee qubudu intloko, waphuma umphefumlo. Kwakungokuhlwa okwandulela *iPasika. AmaJuda ayengathandi ukuba kubekho imizimba esaxhonywe eminqamlezweni *ngoMhla wokuPhumla, ngakumbi ngalo wePasika. Amcela ke uPilato ukuba yaphulwe imilenze yâbo babebethelelwe, baze bothulwe nasemnqamlezweni. Aya ke amajoni, afika ayaphula imilenze yowokuqala, aza ayaphula neyowesibini owayebethelelwe kunye noYesu. Kodwa akufika kuYesu, afumana ukuba selefile; akabi sayaphula ke eyakhe imilenze. Suka lamhlaba ngomkhonto ephangweni elinye ijoni, kwaza kwampompoza igazi namanzi. Oku kuyangqinwa ngomnye wâbo bakubonileyo, yaye ubungqina bakhe buyinyaniso. Uyazazi ukuba unyanisile, efuna ukuba nani nikholwe. Zisenzeka nje ezi zinto, zazizalisekisa okuxelwe *ziziBhalo zisithi: “Akuyi kwaphulwa nalinye ithambo lakhe.” Kwakhona enye indawo yeziBhalo ithi: “Baya kujonga kulowo bamhlabileyo.” Ke kaloku emva koko uJosefu waseArimati wacela imvume kuPilato ukuba awuthathele kuye umzimba kaYesu. UJosefu lo wayengumlandeli ofihlakeleyo kaYesu ngenxa yokoyika amaJuda. UPilato wamvumela, waza ke uJosefu waya kuwuthula umzimba kaYesu. UJosefu wayekhatshwa nguNikodimo, lowo wayekhe waya kuYesu ngobusuku. UNikodimo wayephethe umxube wentlaka yokuqhola nencindi yekhala engaphezu kweekhilogram ezingamashumi amathathu. Bawuthatha ke umzimba kaYesu, bawuthandela ngamalaphu elinen, bawuqhola njengokuba kwakusenziwa ngokwesiko lamaJuda. Kwakukho isitiya kuloo ndawo wayebethelelwe emnqamlezweni kuyo uYesu, kukho nengcwaba elitsha, kungekangcwatywa mntu kulo. UYesu ke bamngcwaba kweli ngcwaba lilelona likufutshane, kuba *uMhla wokuPhumla wawuselusondele.
