Emveni kwoku, esazi u‐Yesu ukuba zonke izinto zise zigqityiwe, ukuze sifezwe isiba̔lo, wati: Ndiyanxanwa. Kekaloku bekumi kona isitya sizele yiyasine: baza bazalisa ikepekepe ngeyasine, balifaka kwihisope, balisondeza emlonyeni wake. Wandula u‐Yesu akuba eyamkele iyasine leyo, wati: Kugqityiwe! waza watoba intloko, wanikela umpefumlo.
Andula ati ama‐Juda, ngenxa yokuba ibiyimini yokulungiselela, ukuze imizimba ingahlali ekuruseni ngesabata, (ngokuba ubungumhla omkulu owesabata leyo,) amtandaza u‐Pilati ukuba mayapulwe imilenze yabo, baze basuswe. Eza ngoko amasodati, ayapula imilenze yowokuqala, neyomnye obekuruseshwe naye. Kodwa efikile ku‐Yesu, akubona ukuba usel’ efile yena, awayapula imilenze yake; koko elinye lamasodati lahlaba icala lake ngomkonto, kwaza kwasekupuma igazi namanzi. Nalowo obonileyo unqi̔nile, nobunqi̔na bake buyinyaniso: kanjalo uyazi yena ukuba uyateta okuyinene, ukuze nikolwe. Ngokuba zenzekile ezizinto, ukuze isiba̔lo sizaliseke, sokuti: Aliyi kwapulwa nalinye itambo lake. Nakanjako esinye isiba̔lo sitsho ukuti: Baya kukangela lowo bamhlabayo.
Kekaloku emveni kwezizinto, u‐Josefe wase‐Arimateya, engumdisipile ka‐Yesu, enjalo kodwa ngasese ngenxa yokwoyika ama‐Juda, wamtandaza u‐Pilati ukuba makasuse umzimba ka‐Yesu: waza u‐Pilati wamvumela. Weza ngoko, wawususa umzimba ka‐Yesu. Weza kanjalo no‐Nikodemo, lowo wezayo ku‐Yesu ngobusuku ekuqaleni, ezisa impitikezo yemore nekala, zinga iponti zilikulu linye. Bandula bawutabata umzimba ka‐Yesu, bawubopa ngeqiya zokubopa ndawonye nezimnandi ezo, njengokuba ama‐Juda enesiko lokuncw̔aba.
Kekaloku kulondawo apo ebekuruseshelwe kona bekuko umyezo, nakulomyezo incw̔aba elitsha, ekungazanga kubekwe mntu kulo. Kwa lapo ngoko, ngenxa yemini yokulungiselela yama‐Juda, kuba libe likufupi incw̔aba elo, bambeka u‐Yesu.
