DAY 19: REMEMBERING GOD'S FAITHFULNESS
Key verse: But I took your father Abraham from the land beyond the Euphrates and led him throughout Canaan and gave him many descendants… - Joshua 24:3
In Joshua 24:3, we are reminded of God’s unending faithfulness to His people. As Joshua leads the Israelites into the Promised Land, he reflects on their shared history, illustrating how the ceiling of the past generation becomes the floor for the next. Joshua accomplished all that Moses was unable to. What greater things are we pursuing today as a church?
We can look back and see God’s faithfulness in our own community. We have witnessed lost souls finding salvation, leaders being raised up, and nations impacted through the faithfulness of individuals answering the call as missionaries. Each step taken in faith serves as a testament to God’s faithfulness.
But what constitutes these “greater things”? Jesus promised us in John 14:12 that we would do even greater works than His. This is not just a call to replicate past successes but to push forward to do even greater. It’s about expanding our vision to embrace the mission of connecting with God’s purpose, and changing our world.
As we remember how God has been faithful to us, let us rise to the challenge. What greater works will you undertake? How can we, as a church, step into a future marked by bold faith and remarkable transformation? Let us commit ourselves to do even greater things for His glory, fueled by the faithfulness we have already experienced.
Response
How has God’s faithfulness in your life or community encouraged you to pursue “greater things” for His kingdom?

Just like Joshua, we are commissioned by God to advance His purposes, no matter where we are. Over these next 21 days, you’ll be challenged to walk in faith, courage, and obedience, knowing that God goes before you, equips you, and strengthens you for every battle ahead.
