My Assignment: Praying for My Husband.

DAY 4 OF 7

Day 4: My husband will be comforted by God.

Scripture: Psalms 3:5(AMP) I lay down and slept [safely]; I awakened, for the LORD sustains me.

My Prayer: Father, you are sovereign. You are the ultimate provider and lover of our souls. Father, you have given a role to my husband that mirrors a relationship to your bride, the church. Father, it is not an easy road to loving, providing, and being the spiritual head of our household. Father, I ask that you shower my husband with your grace and mercy. Be his rest father as he lays down in your peace and your safety. Father be his courage as he gets up another day to be who you have called him to be and let him live a life of worship to you as he reflects and mirrors your love, grace, provision, and protection to his family.

Father, you are an incredible father, and you are so good to us, and I thank you for the gift of my husband, even on the days I don’t act like it or feel like it. Continue to help us work out our salvation together in our roles as husband and wife.  Instill in me how to respect my husband with my attitude and actions.  Father, help my husband submit to you, Lord, as I lovingly and respectfully submit to my husband without fear. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
