Go: Your Action Plan To Change The World

DAY 12 OF 32

"Feeling Unqualified" READY In Acts 2, Peter preaches a powerful message, eloquently connecting hundreds of years of Hebrew history to Jesus. He would go on to be one of the most influential leaders in the early church, a status that people still honor him with today. But If there was one person in the New Testament who wasn’t qualified to lead the church, it’s him. He was infamous for his denial of Jesus, a sin and weakness he was very sorry about. But Jesus reinstated him. That means Jesus forgave the sin, and brought Peter back to his calling. After he received Christ’s forgiveness and empowered by the Holy Spirit, Peter was able to preach the gospel to thousands of people, command them to repent, and start the church in Jerusalem. Maybe you feel a lot like Peter. You feel unqualified to share the gospel and reach the campus. You feel like you don’t have the credibility. And yet, in spite of that, Jesus is still willing to use you, mightily and effectively, to advance His kingdom to the world. Why? Because that’s just His nature. He continues to forgive. His grace has an extraordinary way of making you qualified for the calling no matter what you may have to done in the past. SET Are you grateful that God has chosen you to change the campus? How does it make you feel knowing that God qualifies you for great tasks even though you think you’re not qualified to do it? GO Talk to someone about Jesus today. If you start to feel unworthy or unqualified, pray and remind yourself that God has restored you. Thank God for His grace, and keep moving forward.
