Day 7 | Radical Adoration

‬“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” -‭‭ Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30

Connecting with God through Adoration is praising God with all of you, hold nothing back. What does it look like to be radical in your adoration towards God? When you love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. You love Him and praise Him with every thought, all your energy, all your desires, all your resources, all your emotions, all your passions, and more. God gets your first and your best. Is He the first thought on your mind when you wake up? And the last thought on your mind before going to sleep? Does He get all your heart or pieces here and there? Does God get your strength in the every day or do you spend all your strength loving and pursuing lesser things? Adoration is strong love that’s fierce and complete. You cannot adore Him partially and keep the rest of your love for other things! He has to be everything!

Loving God with your heart is when God is first in your life. Loving God with your soul is when you love Him from a Kingdom perspective—giving up what you want for what He wants. Loving God with your mind, is a decision to love God. Loving Him with your strength, is with your resources, with your influence, connections, money. From this place of loving God, your adoration, your worship and praise is a pleasing aroma and sacrifice to the God of the universe!

Prayer

Lord, forgive me for not loving you with my every thought, word, and action. I want to give You my best and my all, God! I don’t reserve anything for myself. Everything I am is poured out at your feet, Lord. Help me love you with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Application

Let God have your all. Don’t hold anything back!
Ask Him if there is any place where you are not loving and adoring him with your thoughts, your heart, your will, your emotions, or your strength.

Adoration is ministering to God’s heart through worship. Through this 7-Day devotional, our goal is that your relationship with God will grow as you learn to put your focus on the Lord and minister to His heart through Adoration.
