Day 4 | When the King is in the Room‭

When the King is in the room, there should be a response! In Philippians 2:9-10, as Jesus is exalted, every knee bows and every tongue confesses that He is Lord. When Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem, the people went before Him and laid out their cloaks and cut palm tree branches to lay out on the ground before Him in a posture of honor (Matthew 21:1-11). They then broke out into shouts of praise to Jesus!

Even in the secret place, where it's just you and God, go into the Holy Place exalting Him and let your heart and body respond in worship to Him. Don't be afraid to kneel in your living room with your kids running around, shout His praises in your home, weep before Him in your closet, or lay prostate before Him in humility. Start your journey of boldly declaring your love for God by expressing it physically in your home and let it go out from there.

As you spend time intentionally exalting Jesus, let there be a response of adoration to His presence and kingship. Kneel or bow before the King, shout to the King, sing to Him, clap to honor His presence. Engage your whole body, soul, and Spirit in exalting the King.

Prayer

Lord, I give You all my love! I repent for partnering with any fear of what others think about my adoration to you. My worship is just for you, God! I bow before you, I dance before you, and I kneel before you. I love You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
