Navigating Silent Seasons

DAY 10 OF 10

As we bring this devotional to a close, I pray that you begin to hear the Lord if you haven’t already while reading this plan. I encourage you to remember that God’s voice is not always this loud voice, but it is often the still, small voice. To hear His voice, we have to be postured appropriately to hear Him and eliminate the things that may be standing in the way of us hearing Him clearly.

Remember to be open to how He wants to speak to you, eliminate distractions, and understand it may be a test or a sign that you are on the right track. To hear Him, you can lean on Godly community, read the bible, create an atmosphere of worship, pray, and fast to be aligned with His will.

Know that the Lord is always speaking, but we have to be open to receive what He is saying. Not only did He give us the tools I mentioned in this plan thus far, but He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit, which dwells inside of us. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us into all truth, so trust that the promptings of the Holy Spirit are God speaking to you. It’s not your intuition or your own intellect. It’s God the Holy Spirit communicating with you.

It is such a privilege that a Sovereign God wants to communicate with each and every one of us personally. I pray that this plan has helped you get some practical tips and tools to hear from the Lord. I believe that these past 10 days have been monumental in your journey of hearing from the Lord. As you continue to seek Him, I pray that His voice becomes much clearer and that you will be able to help others hear Him as well.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for loving me enough to want to communicate with me. I pray that as I continue to seek your will for my life, I will be able to hear you and help others hear your voice as well. In Jesus’ name, amen.

About this Plan

Navigating Silent Seasons

One of the most frequently asked requests of God is to be able to hear His voice. Sometimes, even those who have heard His voice feel like they have entered seasons where His voice is hard to hear. Through this Bible Plan, readers will be given tools to help hear the voice of God once again.
