Thank you for going through this Christmas devotional, “He Shall Be Called.” During the Christmas season, it is fairly easy to think about sweet baby Jesus in the manger and hear about Him being called Immanuel, Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. It’s the cultural thing to do, don’t you know. But Jesus Christ is all of these things, all of the time, 24/7 and 365 days a year. He is all of these things to us who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

It would be a grave misstep not to encourage you to continue your spiritual journey with Christ. Whether you are a seeker of truth or a long-time follower of Christ, it’s the hope that this devotional has engaged your heart, mind, and soul to focus on Jesus in deeper ways through abiding in Him during this Christmas season and throughout the year.

Review the devo and consider the following questions:

• What has encouraged you?
• What has the Lord shown you?
• What has changed in your life since going through the devotional?

As you look toward the next year to continue your journey of knowing Christ and making Him known in greater ways, think about doing some of the following:

• Find a discipleship small group to encourage you to know Christ in a greater way.
• Find a church that breathes life into your relationship with Jesus. Find a few friends to share your discoveries through this devotional.

Remember that the Lord is not done with you yet. As long as there is breath in your lungs, you have purpose and destiny in and through Jesus.
