The PromiseSample
Abraham Offers Isaac
Listen to "Abraham Offers Isaac":
Reflect
How confident are you in God’s promise to meet your needs? God tested Abraham and then dramatically proved His ability to provide all he needed. Imagine Abraham’s relief at the provision of a ram for sacrifice instead of his beloved son.
In a parallel event, God gave His own Son to die for us. He allowed His only beloved, sinless Son to be tortured and murdered. The message is loud and clear: God will do whatever it takes to meet our needs. Our greatest need is forgiveness and restoration of our relationship with our Father in heaven. God met that need for all of eternity. Will He not freely give us whatever else we need?
● Thank God for sending His Son as a sacrifice so you can have forgiveness and a deep relationship with Him.
● Trust the Lord to meet your deepest needs. Surrender your doubts and fear to Him.
