Being in Community

We are not meant to walk this journey of faith alone. God designed us for community, to live well with others. We are designed to be surrounded by people that encourage, love, and support each other. That’s what the church really is. You can absolutely worship Jesus by yourself, but we can only love Him well by loving those He loves. No church, ever, is perfect in this. It’s made up of people from all walks of life, each with their own history, and limp and imperfection. All on their own journey of learning to love Jesus and people better. That’s part of what’s beautiful about it too. It’s why I can belong, it’s why you can belong.

Learning to gather together with a community that loves and worships Jesus, loves and supports each other, and actively loves the city that we’re part of is a big part of what following Jesus looks like. I want to encourage you to find a community, a church that can help you continue your walk following Jesus.
