Kendrea & The Dream Thief Sample

Kendrea & The Dream Thief

DAY 7 OF 7

“REJOICING WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER”

Opening her eyes Kendrea noticed that it was light outside and quickly remembered what happened in her dream during the night and with a big smile on her face she jumped out of bed, ran downstairs and told her father the exciting news. Elated, she thanked her father for guiding her to victory and they both rejoiced. From that day and on Kendrea slept peacefully because she knew the power that was on the inside of her. She always stayed cautious because she never knew when or where she would have to use her power. However, one thing was for sure she was ready to use it against A'coon, if he dared show up again.

The End.

Devotional
As God’s children, when we overcome things that are hard to accomplish, we are truly relieved. This feeling of relief makes us feel really good and puts a big smile on our faces. This feeling of relief comes from our heavenly Father because by his grace he got us through it all.

Take Kendrea for example, in the beginning she was afraid to face A’coon, but with the help of her father she overcame being scared of A’coon to defeating him. Kendrea would not have won her battle with A’coon had she not ran to her father for protection and listened to his words. Kendrea was obedient and trusted her father and because of that she was able to defeat the dream thief and rejoice with her father for the victory.

In the same way, when we run to our heavenly Father for protection and listen to His Word we will defeat our dream thief too. We will have victory over the thief who “comes only to steal and kill and destroy.”

In conclusion, brothers and sisters “trust in the Lord [Jesus] with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
