“VICTORY”
When she got back in bed she fell back asleep and saw A'coon standing in the very spot she last saw him, by the playground jungle gym. Before A'coon could even say a word, Kendrea said in a loud and bold voice, "NO, MY FATHER SAID YOU CAN'T HAVE MY STRAWBERRIES!” After hearing this A'coon became scared. He blinked twice and dared not speak for he saw Kendrea and an enormous, stern faced lion standing behind her who he instantly recognized as her father. Trembling, A'coon wasted no time and ran as fast as he could back to the place from which he came.
Devotional
As God’s children, we have power and authority through Jesus Christ. That means when we use our heavenly Father’s words and the words of Jesus Christ, they will have tremendous power over seen and unseen enemies, life obstacles, daily situations and circumstances. All this we receive through faith.
In the story, Kendrea used her father’s words and because she was obedient it enabled her to defeat A’coon. In the same way, when we use the Word of God over all our situations and circumstances, the power of God’s word will work for us too but it will only work by believing and trusting God by faith. When we have faith in God nothing is impossible for us to achieve.
In conclusion, always remember that the word of God works and “is alive and powerful sharper than any two-edge sword” and through Jesus all of God’s children have permission to use it.
