Do you have someone to support you, pray for you, encourage you, and lift you up? Who are the people that you can trust who will keep you accountable? Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” You are not meant to do life alone; you are not meant to struggle alone. God has given you people who will help you go through life together.

Maybe you are struggling with porn or know someone who is? Keep each other accountable. The Bible says, “Share each other’s burdens, and this way obey the law of Christ.”- Galatians 6:2.

Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

Be encouraged to set up a weekly meet-up, which can be virtually or in person, anywhere you can keep in touch and hold one another accountable.

It’s all about community. Who is yours?

Do you have a community? If not, why not? I encourage you to find a community! If you have a community but haven’t been going, I encourage you to get back into your community!!

Prayer

“ Father, You bring people into my life to lift me up, support me, pray for me, and love me. You bring people into my life to help me grow in you. I was not made to do life alone but with people. Lord, forgive me if I have not been seeking community. I pray that you help me find a community that helps me to know you more. Thank you, Father, for everything you have done for me! Thank you for being with me in this Bible plan and learning to overcome porn!. In Jesus’ name Amen!
