Research shows that today about 64% of men and 15% of women are viewing internet pornography. These rising statistics confirm that our generation is driven more than ever to porn and that it is an addiction. Yet, we are one of the most depressed and anxiety-ridden generations, proving that porn does not satisfy or bring us the joy it promises.

Porn destroys us; it messes up our relationships with loved ones by comparing one person to another. Porn leads to a soulful death, just like other kinds of sin that slowly eats away at the mind, body, and heart. In the Bible, James 1:15 says, “Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.’’

So the question is, Is there a way out of this addiction? Is there something out there better than porn?

Over the next few days, let's dive into seeking answers to why men and women are driven to porn, and together, let’s overcome its grip.

“ Father, I thank you for leading me into this Bible plan on “ Jesus and Porn.” Lord, I pray for the person who has started this plan that together, we seek answers and freedom in Jesus! As we start this plan together, I pray for an open heart and mind to receive freedom in Jesus’ Name. Amen!”
