Praying the Scripture Through Lent

DAY 14 OF 40

The Son

Jesus had many names attributed to him according to the prophet Isaiah. The name of Jesus Christ itself, though, is so powerful because on hearing it, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. Are you prepared for this Jesus to transform your life?

Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing that there is power in every declaration.

Isaiah 9:6 NLT
For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor,[a] Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
1 John 5:12 AMP
He who has the Son [by accepting Him as Lord and Savior] has the life [that is eternal]; he who does not have the Son of God [by personal faith] does not have the life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
