Praying the Scripture Through LentSample

Using the verses below, begin to pray by:
- Reading the three verses
- Exalting God for the attributes you find in the verses
- Thanking Him for things He has done according to the verses you read
- Asking Him to help in areas you see a need in your life according to the scriptures you just declared
The Father
This week we will direct our worship, thanksgiving, and supplications to God our Father. He is an everlasting Father who loves His children with boundless love and compassion.
Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing there is power in every declaration.
Proverbs 3:11-12 NLT
11 My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t be upset when he corrects you.
12 For the Lord corrects those he loves,
just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.
1 John 3:1 ESV
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
Psalm 103:13 AMP
Just as a father loves his children,
So the Lord loves those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence].
