Praying the Scripture Through LentSample

Praying the Scripture Through Lent

DAY 3 OF 40

The Father

The Father loves us so much that He sent His only son to earth for us. This triune God is ready and waiting to help us in times of trouble and to hold us close in the good times too. Would we choose to run to him?

Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing there is power in every declaration.

Romans 8:32 NLT
32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
John 14:9-11
9 Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?
10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.
11 Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do.
Matthew 26:53 NLT
53 Don’t you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands[a] of angels to protect us, and he would send them instantly?
