Praying the Scripture Through LentSample

Praying the Scripture Through Lent

DAY 18 OF 40

The Spirit

The Holy Spirit helps us engage in spiritual warfare since He knows what goes on in the spiritual realm. He accomplishes great things when we pray and invite Him into our situations, however impossible it may seem. He also empowers us to live with hope and overflow with love towards others.

Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing that there is power in every declaration.

Zechariah 4:6 NLT
Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
Romans 5:5 NLT
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Acts 1:8 AMP
But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”
