Trust can be something that is hard to give especially when it comes to trusting God.  It can be easy to trust God when everything in our lives is going well, but what happens when we are going through difficult times?  There are times we all have been faced with the difficult challenge of trusting God, even when we don’t understand why the event is happening.  

This can look like a lot of different things—like trusting God when your family member has cancer, or trusting God through a breakup, or even trusting God when someone passes away suddenly.  All of these events can make it difficult for us to trust God.  The thing we have to understand is that it doesn’t have to be something we understand.  God doesn’t ask us to make sense of what happened.  He simply asks us to trust him and then he will help guide us along the way.

 Challenge: Today we challenge you to take some time and talk to God.  Be open with him about the things that you are struggling to trust him with.  It’s okay. He can handle your doubts.  Then we ask you to take the bold step in trusting him even when you don’t understand.
