“He Builds His Church" READY As chapter two comes to an end, we see the church in momentum. After 3,000 got saved during the Pentecost, the Bible says that every day people are being added to those who are being saved. Can you imagine that? Daily salvation was happening. They did not have to wait for the next outreach month, seminar or youth service to witness someone give their lives to Christ. It was happening every day. The church itself was the tool for that miracle to happen. What’s interesting here, though, is that it all happened not by the sheer courage and passion of the apostles and disciples. It happened because the Lord Himself did it. Yes, we have a part in advancing God’s kingdom here on earth. Yes, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to do that; and yes, He can give us boldness to approach the timid and the proud, to preach the gospel. But at the end of the day, it is and will always be the Lord who will add to our numbers. You know that as you do that, it is the Lord himself who increase your number in your campus. You can put your faith in God rather than your own strength to believe for growth. Why? Because Jesus promised His disciples that He will build His church. He will make the church grow. All we have to do is to follow the great commission and leave the rest to Him. SET Do you find yourself being pressured to produce the fruit and the growth? Are you trying to do all the ministry yourself or are you trusting God to make it happen? GO Believe for supernatural growth in your campus. Talk with you campus team and believe God for a specific number souls you want to be saved this school year.
