Go: Your Action Plan To Change The World

DAY 21 OF 32

“Who’s Name Is It Anyway?” READY Imagine the President of the country giving you the authority to use his name to execute a task. How would you feel about that? Honored? Privileged? Grateful? Now imagine this. Jesus, the King of kings and the most powerful being the universe, giving you the privilege to use His name. How would you feel about that? When Peter saw the lame man at the temple gate, his heart may have been so moved that he paused to minister to the man. Taking the opportunity to preach the gospel to a crowd by show of miracle, Peter commanded the man to walk. With it, the man walked after 40 long years - all because Peter used the name of of Jesus. Christ, gave him authority to do that. Such power! The great news is, this same authority is still available for us today. It is the promise of God to those who believe. That’s why, as we go out there, we can minister to our campus with heads held high, knowing that we have the authority to do it in Jesus’ name. In His name, we can preach the gospel, do signs and wonders, and even heal people. SET Why does doing things in Jesus’ name give you power, confidence, and authority to face the challenges of life? GO The Bible says that God can give us spiritual gifts to be used in advancing His kingdom. Ask God to give you spiritual gifts for you to use in the reaching the campus.
