God’s Grandeur

DAY 7 OF 7

God is Great and most Worthy of Praise

God’s grandeur is portrayed throughout the Bible. Creation is God’s poem, God the Creator made the Sun, and the psalmist accurately used the image of the Sun to remind us of God’s magnificence and unlimited power. Considering this, allow this image to become the focus of your day and life. The Father blessed and made the seventh day holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done. Let us pray together and remind ourselves of our journey.

Prayer: As I seek you Lord, and make you the center of my life, I want to trust in your unlimited power – even in the midst of difficulties and struggles. I know that I have unlimited energy that comes from you, so I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

In the valley of the shadow of death, tears, and sorrow, you will hold me and guide me with your light. I need your light. When my path becomes dark and uncertain, your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I need you to guide me as I walk because I am not perfect.

I need your protective shield and heat, that warmth that comes and helps me understand that sin is never the path to satisfaction. I choose to pursue you above all else.

Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to Earth to give His life for me. Thank you, Jesus, for taking my place and for loving me. You truly are the Light, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank you for not withholding your blessings as I choose to follow you and live my life for you.

Lord, I trust you as I walk and continue on the path of discovery of who you are and who I am in you. I can say that it is better to spend one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.
